"Fashion Sketches: 2006 Collection" features two-dimensional original fashion pieces rendered in ink, graphite and colored pencil. Inspired by art history, texture, flow and structure, Germond created these designs for women to cherish as personal symbols of timeless quality, femininity, romance and fun.
To further enhance the experience, the display will also feature a three-dimensional design board, as well as a couture dress designed by Germond.
Germond, 19, is the daughter of Kirk and Joanne Germond of Delphi.
The public is invited to meet the artist at an opening reception Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit will be on display at the gallery through Nov. 22. Tippecanoe Arts Federation is located at 638 North St., Lafayette. For additional information, call (765) 423-ARTS.
