Carroll County Senior and Family Services will host FLU SHOTS Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Stone Barn in Delphi and Nov. 6 at Valley View Baptist Church in Flora from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shots are free to those on Medicare Part B (must provide card). DELPHIARTCLUB is having itsWinter Snowbird Dinner Nov. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Flora Presbyterian Church, 211 S. Center Street, on the west side of the street. Members are to enter from the back parking lot and through the handicapped entrance. Meat and drinks will be furnished; bring a side dish. Guests are welcome.

Extension Homemakers will host a HOLIDAY WORKSHOP Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. at the 4-H Community Building in Flora. Attendees can taste a buffet of holiday recipes, receive their own copy of the Holiday Book, and observe/receive instructions to holiday craft ideas.

FLORA'S HOLIDAY PARADE, celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, will be Nov. 11, with a rain date of Nov. 18. This year's theme is "Making Holiday Memories." Entries should assemble at the Jackson- Lee-Pearson building by 11:30 a.m., and the parade will start at 12:30.
