Open house for Burnworths

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Burnworth, 721N 25E, Flora, IN 46929, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Oct. 15.

The event will be hosted by their children from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Rinehart Gathering Barn, north of Burlington.

Burnworth and the former Mary Margaret (Meg) Lamb were married Oct. 13, 1956, in Los Lunas, N.M.

He worked in the feed and hog industry for many years. He was an ultrasound tech with GIS North Carolina at the time of his retirement. She is the general accounting manager at Kokomo Grain Inc.

They have two children, Lisa Ortman (husband: Scot) of Bringhurst and Jeff Burnworth of Lafayette, and two grandchildren.
