Experience Works recruits older workers

National Employ the Older Worker Week is being observed this week. It is a perfect time for seniors who are in need of extra income to consider getting the training they need to get a job.

Experience Works, the country's largest provider of matureworker training and employment, is currently recruiting individuals 55 and older, with limited income, who want to learn new skills, gain job experience, and ultimately work full or part time in their local communities.

National Employ the Older Worker Week acknowledges the special contributions of older working Americans nationwide. The week is also an opportunity to recognize the employers of older workers who establish agefriendly work environments by training, recruiting, and retaining qualified older workers.

Established in 1965, Experience Works is a national, charitable, community-based organization focused on meeting the training and employment needs of low-income seniors.
