Flora Lions gear up for annual motorcycle event

Flora Lions Club is again sponsoring its annual motorcycle event to benefit Riley Children's Hospital and Lafayette Home Hospital Neo Natal Care Unit, This is the eighth consecutive year for the benefit ride.

Motorcyclists participating include Flora Lions Club members as well as friends of the club. The group will depart on Sept. 29 for a three-day tour of northern Michigan. All participating riders will pay their own expenses. One hundred percent of the donations collected will be divided evenly between the two medical providers for children.

Anyone wishing to support the charitable event may do so by mailing their donations to the Flora Lions Club, P.O. Box 46, Flora, IN 46929. Donations are also being collected at Collisions Unlimited, Inc. and Hufty Alignment and Radiator Service in Flora. Checks should be made payable to: Flora Lions Club Kid's Ride.
