Open house for Kelly 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kelly of Burlington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Sept. 24.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Burlington Community Center.

Kelly and the former Mary Lambert were married on Sept. 22, 1956, in Sneedville, Tenn.

They have 10 children, Terry (wife:Diane) of Tonopah, Ariz.; Tony (wife: Cindy) of Flora; Rick (wife: Joyce) of Russiaville; David (wife: Teleena) and Joe (wife: Judy), both of Burlington; Jim (wife: Deana) of Bringhurst; Pam Stephens (husband: Tom) of Camden; Robbie of Burlington; Lisa Roberts (husband: John) of Frankfort; and Chris, deceased. The couple also has 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
