McGreeveys celebrate 50th
Mr. and Mrs. James McGreevey of Delphi will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house on Oct. 1.
The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at theWabash & Erie Canal Conference & Interpretive Center, hosted by their daughters and families.
McGreevey and the former Carol Lamb were married Oct. 6, 1956, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Delphi. He owned J & J Disposal Service and McGreevey's Pizza King, and is now retired. She is also retired and was co-owner of J & J Disposal Service and McGreevey's Pizza King and was a bookkeeper.
They have four daughters, Vickie Smith and Brenda Crawford, both of Indianapolis; Terrie Cowan of Waterloo, and Kellie Martin of Delphi. The couple also has eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
