Mary E. Helmuth

Mary E. Helmuth, 64, of Pyrmont, died at 11:45 a.m. Sept. 17, 2006.

Born Nov. 14, 1941, in Bringhurst, she was the daughter of Roy and Leona Fisher Reavis. She married Harley Helmuth on May 8, 1960, and he survives.

Mrs. Helmuth attended Rossville schools and has resided in Pyrmont for 36 years.

She was a teacher at New Hope School for 24 years.

She was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Surviving with her husband are one son, Rodney Helmuth (wife: Anna) of Marcellus, Mich.; two daughters, Regina Wolf (husband: Maurice) of Bringhurst and Rebecca Helmuth of Arcanum, Ohio; two sisters, Emily Bauman (husband: Jerry) of Modesto, Calif., and Ruth Reavis of Rossville; two brothers, Richard Reavis (wife: Bonnie) of Hillsboro, Wisc., and Clarence Reavis (wife: Ardis) of North Manchester; and nine grandchildren.

A brother, Morris Earl Reavis, preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at the North Folk Old German Baptist Church. Home brethren will officiate. Burial will be at the North Fork Old German Baptist Church Cemetery. A family prayer service will precede the service at 9 a.m. at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.

Memorials may be made to New Hope School.
