Camden Camden American Legion will meet Monday night in the Legion Home. Camden Community Building will be open Friday and Saturday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. for donations to the Kentucky Mountain Missions. Among the many items needed are children's clothes, toys, pots and pans. The United Methodist Church is sponsoring the drive. The Board of Deacons of the Baptist Church is sponsoring a carry-in dinner at the church following Sunday morning services. Meat, drinks and table service will be provided. Camden Elementary School is again participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Collected box tops can be given to students or dropped off at the school. School supporters may sign-up online to earn an additional seven bonus box tops for the school through Oct. 31 at www.boxtops4education.com. |
