Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have a community breakfast every month on the first Saturday of the month. Serving will be from 6:30 to 10:30. Full breakfasts, made to order, will be available, along with carry-outs. Free-will donations will be accepted.

PW Circle of Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will meet Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Jo Delaplane.

The Golden Girls of Deer Creek met recently at a restaurant in Lafayette. Those attending were Joan Jones of Thorntown, Mary Blue of Cutler, Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport,Marilyn Hile,Margy Albaugh and Dot Fulton of Deer Creek.

Quincie and Ann Spangler were taken to lunch in Peru recently by her brother and his wife, Jerry and Mary Blue.
