Indiana Beach's Cornball Express receives top ranking

The Cornball Express at Indiana Beach Amusement and Camp Resort in Monticello has been ranked as one of the Top 20 Wooden Roller Coasters in the World for 2006.

The announcement was part of The Golden Ticket Awards presented to the "best of the best" in the amusement industry resulting from an international poll conducted by "Amusement Today" magazine.

The ranking as #18 in the international list of best roller coasters bests other notable coasters from the larger theme parks. This year marks the fourth consecutive appearance in the Top 20 for Cornball Express.

In addition, this Indiana Beach coaster has been recognized by other organizations in the past. In 2003, ThemeParkCritic.com designated Cornball Express as the #1 wooden roller coaster in the U.S.

Indiana Beach Amusement and Camp Resort has just concluded the successful 2006 season and will reopen inMay 2007.
