Volunteers needed to help coordinate Daffodil Days

The American Cancer Society needs volunteers to help coordinate its annual Daffodil Days flower fundraiser in Carroll County.

Volunteer committees will begin meeting soon to coordinate the fundraiser. Daffodil orders are taken in advance and are delivered to businesses and homes mid-March.

Daffodil Days is an event representing hope in the fight against cancer. The daffodils are offered in advance of their normal blooming schedule, thus giving a head start to spring. Donations support the American Cancer Society's efforts of cancer research, local patient services, education and prevention and detection programs.
