The annual Burlington Fall Festival will be held this weekend. A festival queen will be crowned Wednesday evening, and a Little Miss and Mister on Thursday evening. The festival will feature food, entertainment, parade, rendezvous, booths, and much more. A community worship service will be held Sunday at the park, starting at 10 a.m. Joyful Noise will bring special music and Pastor Steve Cole will give the message.

A blood drive will be held Sept. 26 at the Community Building from 1 to 6:30 p.m.. All presenting donors will be eligible to enter a drawing for a Scoops dinner for four. The drive is being sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

The Kentucky Mission Truck will be in Burlington to pickup items on Sept. 25-27. They especially need children's toys for Christmas and kitchenware. Bring items to the third bay of the garage. Do not turn the handle as it will be locked. Just lift to open and pull down to close.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sept. 24. A carry-in dinner will be held following morning worship.

Faith Church of Christ is hosting Fifth Quarter following Friday night football games. All area youth are invited.

Christian Women's Fellowship will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Faith Church of Christ.

Kiwanis Club will serve a pancake breakfast at the park Saturday in lieu of their regular meeting. Free will offerings will be taken for breakfast.

Henry and Cheryl Milburn attended her 40-year class reunion from Frankfort High School last Saturday evening. There were 70 in attendance.
