Camden Camden's annual Fall Festival and town-wide garage sales will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rain date is Sunday. On Sept. 12 at 7 p.m., Phyllis Myers will present a program entitled "Bringing Family History to Life" at the Camden Public Library. A workshop on researching family history will be present. Phyllis Moore, museum curator, will also speak on resources available at the Carroll County Historical Museum. Order of the Eastern Star will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Masonic Temple. Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Hall. Camden-Jackson Township Public Library Board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 13 in the library's Reading Room. United Methodist Women will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 in the church. Pat Fife will give devotions and Diane Hinkle, the lesson. Hostesses will be Pat Fite and Jackie Edging. Aim Hi E.H. Club met recently in the lake side home of Sharon Ashby with 13 members present. A carry-in meal was served. The anniversary song honored Donna Swayze, the co-hostess. Devotions were given by Mrs. Ashby. |
