Berkshire earns 13-gallon donor pin

Kenneth Berkshire, Delphi, received a 13-gallon pin when the Red Cross Bloodmobile visited Flora on Aug. 31.

Others receiving pins were Marion Blocher, Flora, 11 gallons; Dick Rinehart, Burrows, 10 gallons; Forrest Newman, Delphi, 8 gallons; and David Weckerly, Delphi, 5 gallons.

Seventy pints of blood were received from 80 donors. The Flora Old German Baptist Church with 12 volunteers will receive $100 from Flora Psi Iota Xi. The Flora United Methodist Church was runnerup with eight volunteers. Volunteers came from 28 churches in the area.
