Smith to lead Cemetery Walk

Mark A. Smith will lead a Cemetery Walk at the IOOF Cemetery, north of Delphi, on Sept. 9 at 2 p.m.

The lives of canal-era merchants, notables, and industrialists will be discussed.

Honored guest will be Victor Case, great-great-grandson of Reed Case, canal engineer and Delphi area merchant.

All who are interested in those who assisted in canal-era development of Delphi as a major shipping and receiving center are encouraged to attend.

The cemetery is located just outside of Delphi on Wilson Street. Very little walking is required.
