Ecumenical Women's Retreat

The Ecumenical Women's Retreat committee of the Monticello area will host its 19th annual fall retreat at Camp Tecumseh on Sept. 15 and 16.

This year's guest speaker will be Norma McMurry.

McMurry was raised in North Carolina and speaks with a charming southern accent. She currently lives in Fairborn, Ohio, which serves as home base for her work with Giving Thanks Ministries. She has spoken to numerous groups, led retreats, seminars and Bible studies for over 30 years.

McMurry's topic will be "God, the Master Jeweler" using fun and scripture to guide listeners in discovering the precious jewels they can be in the 'setting' God designs for each one.

The retreat will begin with registration from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. The program will conclude Sept. 16 at noon.
