Cougars double at Frontier

Saturday the Carroll High School Cross Country teams did something that they have never done before, they both won an invitational the same day.

The girls had to have a restart after lightening entered the area. It was then decided to run both boys and girls races together

after an hour delay so as to avoid canceling the meet altogether. The girls would still complete their 4K course, while the boys would do their customary 5K. When it was all done, both Carroll teams had prevailed.

The 7th-ranked girls (Hoosier Authority) took their record to

11-1 while the 9th-ranked boys (Hoosier Authority) ran their record to 7-4. Both teams will see action this Thursday as they compete at the competitive Rossville Invitational where teams like Western and Lafayette Harrison bring in some fine runners.
