Runner-up at State Fair

Madison Dyke

Susie Dyke of rural Camden was runner-up in Division IV (Professionals), Children's Garments, at the Indiana State Fair Fashion Show.

She made a three-piece ensemble for her granddaughter, Madison Dyke, who modeled the outfit in the show on Aug. 13.

The competition consisted of winners from counties throughout the state. Judging was based on clothing construction, poise, fashion accessories, and the completed look of the model.

A winner and runner-up were recognized in each category of the show. They each received a gift bag of sewing supplies, valued at $150 and $100 respectively.

The fashion show competition is an annual event conducted by the Home and Family Arts Building staff.
