Ungers to celebrate 50th

Mr. and Mrs. James R. Unger of Frankfort will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 9 with an open house hosted by their children.

The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at Rossville United Methodist Church, 110 West Main Street.

Unger and the former Sharon K. Donoho were married Sept. 7, 1956, in Frankfort by Rev. Russel Unger.

He is retired from Chrysler, and she is retired from Delco (Delphi Corporation).

The couple has three children, Lisa Kay Metter (husband: David) of Edwardsburg, Mich.; James Allan Unger (wife: Terrie) of Rossville; and Lori Leighty (husband: Scott) of Michigantown. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
