Donnabelle Chamberlain

Donnabelle Chamberlain, 87, formerly of the Flora area, died Aug. 24, 2006, at Clinton House, Frankfort.

Born Dec. 17, 1918, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of James and Rena Pullen Kingery. She married Maurice K. Chamberlain on Sept. 5, 1936, and he died July 10, 1980.

Mrs. Chamberlain worked for the Indiana State Highway Department for 10 years before she retired.

Surviving are three daughters, Christine Brenton (husband: Dale) of Russiaville, Karen Casey (husband: James) of Lebanon, and Sharon A. Harlow of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Darline Schreckenghaust (husband: Don) of Logansport; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services and burial were Monday in Frankfort.
