The Town of Camden will host its annual Fall Festival on Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a wide variety of activities, including a community breakfast, games, food booths, craft and flea market vendors, town-wide garage sales, live entertainment including Justin Tyme, Sharayah Red Elk, Resurrection, Chalisa Keaton, Neon Dove, and Insomnia.

Camden Fall Festival and townwide garage sales will be held Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Kentucky Mountain Mission truck, sponsored by the United Methodist Church, will be in town on Sept. 23 and 24.

First Baptist Youth Group kick-off will be a cookout Sept. 2 at the Mike and Jeanne Gillam residence. The event is for youth ages second grade through freshman. The group will leave the Camden School at 2 p.m. to bike ride to the Gillams. Riders will be accompanied by adults. Children pre-kindergarten age through first grade must wear a helmet.

Promotion Sunday will be observed Sept. 3 at the Baptist Church. Children who are in third grade will receive a bible.

Camden American Legion Auxiliary Unit 413 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Legion Home.

Volunteer firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge.

Camden Masons will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Masonic Temple.

Blood pressure checks will be given from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Fireman's Lounge.

Camden Lions Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Fireman's Lounge.

Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 at the church to share rides. Jimpsie Doyel will give devotions. Hostesses will be Teresa Hensley and Cathy Gero. Cookies are needed.

Camden Council of Churches will meet at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7 in the United Methodist Church. Plans for the VeteransThanksgiving Service will be discussed.
