Vicki K. Reed

Vicki K. Reed, 50, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Aug. 21, 2006.

Born in Lafayette on Sept. 15, 1955, she was the daughter of James E. and Ellen Brier Robinson.

Her marriage was to John D. "Doug" Reed Sr. in 1989, and he survives.

Mrs. Reed was a bartender at the Oakdale Inn in Monticello.

Surviving with her husband are a stepson, John D. Reed Jr. and a foster son, Stevie Lane, both of Monticello; her stepmother, Rosalie F. Robinson of Lafayette; a brother, Jim Robinson of Delphi; a half brother, Mike Boatman of Shadeland; a half sister, Jamie Wray of Kansas; and a stepsister, Patty Nagel of Illinois.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Old Oxford Cemetery in Oxford.
