Virginia M. Bloyd

Virginia M. Bloyd, 80, of Lafayette, died at 5:35 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2006, at Home Hospital.

Born in Radnor on Oct. 7, 1925, she was the daughter of Medford and Letha Cole Clawson.

Her first marriage was to Frank Shoup in Delphi in 1944, and he died in December of 1962. She married Ruel Bloyd in August of 1969, and he died in November of 1988.

Mrs. Bloyd worked for Leveall and Bates Loan Company in Delphi.

She was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Vicki L. Ludwig (husband: Steve) of Lafayette; a brother, Herbert Clawson of Colfax; and four grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held at Delphi Masonic Cemetery.
