Allen L. Ragan

Allen L. Ragan, 62, of Brooksville, Fla., died at 12:08 a.m. on Aug. 16, 2006, at his residence.

Born in Carroll County on Feb. 14, 1944, he was the son of Barnett and Mary A. Clark Ragan.

His marriage was to Sally A. Lunsford on Feb. 21, 1976, in Delphi, and she survives.

Mr. Ragan was a forklift operator for Globe Valve for 28 years.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Delphi.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Austin Ragan (wife: Vanesa) of Lafayette and John S. Ragan (wife: Linda) of Delphi; four daughters, Sandra Myers (husband: John) of Medaryville, Ronda Jones (husband: Rick) and Shirley Ragan, all of Brooksville, Fla., and Regina Overholser (husband: Scott) of Mountain Grove, Mo.; a brother, Harold Ragan of Delphi; a sister, Thelma Garner of Hanna; 21 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Service was Monday in Delphi, with burial at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Delphi.
