First Assembly offers financial course

First Assembly of God in Delphi is offering a new 13week financial course, Financial Peace University. Classes will be offered at the church and will begin Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. and continue three times each month through December.

Participants will study a wide range of family financial matters. A few of the areas of study will be how to put together a spending plan that really works, how to confidently invest for the future, how to make wise insurance decisions, and how to take back control from creditors.

Dave Ramsey, a personal money management expert, is founder of Financial Peace University. Ramsey is a national radio personality and author of the New York Times best-sellers The Total Money Makeover, Financial Peace, and More Than Enough.

Anyone interested in learning more about the classes should attend one of the two orientation meetings scheduled for Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. or Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Delphi. For questions, contact the church office at 765-564-2200 during business hours.
