Fay A. Fannin
Fay A. Booth Fannin, 84, of 8014N 350W, Delphi, died at 6:12 a.m. on Aug. 15, 2006, at her r e s i d e n c e . She had been ill for the past year.

Born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bellville, Ill., she was the daughter of William and Vina Mayo Booth. She was a 1940 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton.

Her marriage was to Waldo S. Fannin on Oct. 28, 1962, in Gary, and he died on Jan. 31, 1989.

From 1957 until retiring in 1985, she owned and operated Fannin Apartments in Gary. After retiring, she and her husband lived for two years in Clinton and moved to Carroll County in November of 1987.

She was a member of the Rockfield Presbyterian Church and a member of the Rock Creek Home Economics Club. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Surviving are two sons, Anthony A. "Tony" Puller of Delphi and John Puller (wife: Bev) of Chesterton; a stepson, Kenneth Puller (wife: Reva) of Carmel; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, and a daughter-in-law, Susan Puller.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rockfield Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Burial will be at Brown Church Cemetery in Rockfield.
