The annual Deer Creek Festival is being held Aug. 26 at the community center. There will be lots of activities starting with a bake sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Baked items are needed. Those who can furnish something should call Lois Wallace at 859-4871. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be door prizes all day. Anyone who would like to volunteer at the Indianapolis Air Show on Aug. 26-27 can still do so. Volunteers must be 16 years old and are required to work a one-time shift of 3 or 4 hours. The McNulty family held a reunion at the Carl and Fran McNulty summer home on Lake Shafer. A cook out was enjoyed, along with swimming in their pool. A highlight of the day of homemade ice cream. There were 25 family members in attendance.
