Carroll YMCA to host kids' clothes exchange

Carroll County YMCA, Flora, is hosting a Back to School clothing exchange.

The event will be Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the YMCA gym.

Parents can bring in their gently used kids' clothes and exchange them for the size they need.

No money is involved. Parents can take home the same number of items that they bring in - five for five, ten for ten, or whatever. All clothes should be clean and in good condition.

To assure a good supply of clothes at the start time and to give time for sorting, families can drop off their clothes today (Wednesday) through Friday during YMCA regular hours. If unable to drop off clothes early, they can be brought at the open hours on Saturday.

Anyone can be part of the exchange, and anyone can donate clothes (Wednesday through Friday) even if they don't want clothes in exchange.
