Aug. 1, 10 p.m. - Property damage accident, SR22 near Hahn Street, Burlington. Steven S. Spurgeon, 49, Linden. Deputy Mark Back investigated. Aug. 2, 7:49 a.m. - Intimidation, Burlington Township. Pete Villarreal reported he received verbal threats from a co-worker when the co-worker came to his residence. Further investigation is being forwarded to the Carroll County prosecutor's office for review. Cpl. Tobe Leazenby investigated. Aug. 3, 9:50 p.m. - Property damage accident, hit and run, CR600N near Hodges Dr., Monticello. An unknown driver in a maroon two-axle vehicle backed into a parked car. Back investigated. A ug. 7, 9:53 a.m. - Criminal mischief, Brown's Tire Service, Delphi. Norm Miller reported that the driver's side window of his pickup truck was knocked out while it was parked at Brown's Tire Service. Leazenby investigated. July 31 - Recovered property, Interpretive Center on N. Washington St. A gray 18-speed Huffy Grand Canyon was recovered. Officer C. Kent investigated. July 31, 6:16 p.m. - Domestic battery, DPD. A report was taken from a witness about a domestic battery involving a juvenile. Kent investigated. Aug. 1, 7:08 p.m. - Juvenile battery, Riley Park. Two juveniles were involved in a fight in Deer Creek. Kent investigated. Aug. 4, 7:58 p.m. - Misdemeanor, Market Street and Lake Shore Drive. Juana L. Valadez, 35, Kokomo, was arrested for not having a child in a restraint seat and driving while never being licensed. Kent investigated. Flora Police Dept. July 31, 6:55 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported at 407 Washington Blvd. Officer Randy Larimore investigated. July 31, 7:26 a.m. A juvenile delinquency report was taken at 613 Harmon St. Officer Grant Davidson investigated. Aug. 1, 4:40 p.m. A juvenile complaint was taken at 613 Harmon St. Larimore investigated. Aug. 2, 8:30 p.m. A criminal mischief report was taken at 307 W. Elm St. Disinger investigated. Aug. 3, 10:30 a.m. A hit and run crash occured in the IGA parking lot. A vehicle owned by Cindy Wood, of Cutler, was struck by an unknown vehicle. Officer Mark Thomas investigated. Aug. 4, 1:20 p.m. Following a traffic stop, Jerry B. Nelson, 48, Kokomo, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear and resisting law enforcement out of Miami County. Chief Paul Redmon investigated. Larimore assisted. Burlington Police July 5, 3:45 p.m. - Marshal Jill Hammond investigated a property damage accident at 3488 S. SR 29 involving a vehicle driven by Donald R. Sandlin. July 11, 1:30 p.m. - Hammond assisted Duke Energy Company with power lines across the roadway at the corner of 8th and Jackson streets. July 17 - Residential entry to a garage at 400 Michigan Road was taken by Hammond. Nothing was found to be missing. July 24 - Daniel W. Kelly, 21, was arrested on a warrant for check deception. He was transported to Carroll County Jail. Hammond investigated. July 27 - Michelle L. Earnhart, 36, Russiaville, was arrested on a warrant charging her with two counts of forgery and two counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. She was taken to Carroll County Jail. Hammond was assisted by the Carroll County Sheriff's Dept. Aug. 6 - Joshua Bagwell, 21, was arrested for public intoxication and was transported to Carroll County Jail.
