James R. Stout James Robert Stout, 87, of Kokomo, died July 28, 2006, at his residence. Born Feb. 1, 1919, in Kokomo, he was the son of Elmer and Edna Harris Stout. On June 3, 1950, in Camden, he married Peggy A. McClure, who survives. Mr. Stout retired from Delco Radio GM in 1977 after 27 years of service. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and earned a Purple Heart. He was a charter member of Faith Church of Christ in Burlington. Also surviving are five children, Jonathan Stout (wife: Jennifer) of Murrieta, Calif., Pamela Lindley (husband: Keith) and Susan Warner (husband: Rex), all of Kokomo, Debora Wright (husband: Brian) of Russiaville, and Kimberly Yeagley (husband: Robert) of Greentown; one brother, George Stout of Burlington; two sisters, Jane Bowley of Grand Isle, Fla., and Betty Lou Rudolph ofWest Palm, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday in Russiaville with burial at Kokomo Memorial Park. |
