Old Settlers offers food and entertainment

Return engagement Tonsil Klackers Barbershop Quartet is returning to Old Settlers this year with several shows between 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the Ruffing Opera House. The shows are free, but free-will donations will help restore the historic downtown landmark. Photo provided
Carnival rides will open the Old Settlers festivities today at 5 p.m. The musical duo Senior Class, made up of Bob Conner and Lois Powlen, will entertain on the courthouse lawn from 6 to 7 p.m. Carroll County Community Band will play from 7 to 8 p.m., then the Christian contemporary group Day 7 will take over from 8 to 10 p.m

Thursday Delphi Chamber of Commerce

will hold a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Delphi United Methodist Church. Karaoke will be held on the courthouse lawn from 6 to 8 p.m., then The Phase band will perform from 8 to 10 p.m.

Friday

A chicken barbecue will be held at Delphi United Methodist Church from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Twin Lakes Gymnastics members will give a demonstration at 6 p.m. on the

courthouse lawn followed by Malachi Jagger & Friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Then the rock band Debacle will take the stage from 9 to 11 p.m.

Saturday

The Freedom Run 2006 motorcycle ride will be held at Freedom Center on Washington Street, two blocks south of the courthouse. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. The museum will be open to the

public from noon to 9 p.m. Dulcimer Gathering will entertain on the courthouse lawn from 3:30 to 5 p.m. followed by Banjo Nutz from 5 to 6 p.m. Country artist Aaron Kelly will perform from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by Justin Tyme Band from 9 to 11 p.m. The carnival will be open noon to 11 p.m. Tonsil Klackers barbership quartet will perform at the Assion-Ruffing Opera House from 7 to 9 p.m.
