Burlington Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the fire station for breakfast and meeting. Mid-week prayer and Bible study will be held at 6:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, at Burlington United Methodist Church. A baked potato bar will be served Sunday at 5 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. Afterwards, Resurrection and Family Trio will perform. A bridal shower honoring Danielle Diller, bride-elect of Scott Rodgers, will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at the United Methodist Church. Crossroads Community Christian Church picnic will be held Sunday. Faith Church of Christ State Fair trip is planned for Aug. 10. A canoe trip for youth in grades 6-12 will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hodges Float Trips. First Brethren Church will begin a series on Titus Sunday during morning worship. |
