Camden Camden American Legion Auxiliary will have its annual "eating out" meeting on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Landmark Restaurant in Pittsburg. Those wanting to carpool should meet at 6 p.m. at the Legion Home. Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Hall. Camden-Jackson Township Public Library Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Library Reading Room. Camden Lions Club will hold its 56th Annual Tractor Pull on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1819, at Camden Park. Rain date is Aug. 20. Camden Volunteer Firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge. Seven members of the Women's Missionary Society of the Baptist Church and two guests, Dorothy Garman and Myna Ruth Walters, met recently in the home of Myrtle Wallace. Jennifer Wallace gave the welcome and prayer. For devotions, Grace Arion read "The Shoe," which was given by Maxine Snider for Keith's memorial at Lions Club. Nancy Dillon gave the Love Gift reading, "Show Me." Grace Arion will take Hanna Appleton's position as treasurer as she resigned. Refreshments were served. Fifteen members of the Aim Hi E.H. Club met July 20 for their annual day out at Gracie's Restaurant in Flora. Members received their new books. The anniversary song was sung to Justine Crume. Evetta Recher and Sharon Ashby won the door prizes. Vendors and volunteers are needed for Camden's Fall Festival to be held Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rain date will be Sept. 10.
