Hofmann-Weatherwax

Nate Hofmann, formerly of Lafayette, and Elizabeth Weatherwax, formerly of Delphi, announce their approaching marriage.

She is the daughter of Van "Deet" and Belinda Weatherwax of Delphi. He is the son of Allen and Roberta Hofmann of Dublin, Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Delphi Community High School and a 2001 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed by the Community Schools of Frankfort as a fourth grade teacher.

Her fianc is a 1995 graduate of Kenston High School, Cleveland, Ohio. He is a 1999 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in English secondary education. He received his master's degree in education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005. He is employed by Tippecanoe School Corporation as an eighth grade teacher.

An Aug. 26 wedding is being planned.
