Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the library. The program will be presented by Marge Sieber with mini reports by Maryanna Selvidge, Christy Zootman, Sharon Ashby, Cathy Gero, Jimpsie Doyel and Lynette Martin. Hostesses will be Christy Zootman and Lynette Martin.

Camden Baptist Church Thanksgiving Supper will be Sunday evening at 6 at the church. Meat, drinks and table service will be provided. Those attending are asked to take a covered dish.

Camden Elementary School's new principal, Carol Coon, was welcomed last Monday with a meal with the superintendent, board members and Ralph Rohrabaugh, Camden Town Council president, and Pat Casserly, Camden clerk-treasurer.

School will be out Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23-24, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Twelve fourth and firth grade students will compete in the annual Spell Bowl on Thursday. This year's competition will be held at 5 p.m. at Hillcrest Elementary School. The event is sponsored by the Indiana Association of School Principals and Purdue University.
