Senior residents welcome help

The students of Mrs. Cripe's second-grade class at Hillcrest did a wonderful thing by helping the residents of the senior citizens' housing on North Washington Street in Camden clean their yards and rake their leaves on Oct. 25.

They did a really good job and it was so wonderful to have this help by those who are so young!

And if that wasn't enough, out of the kindness of their hearts, the Delphi National Honor Society from an art class showed up Nov. 3 and did a "Rake and Run" at our complex.

We very much appreciate the effort of the teachers and the students who understand the need for everyone to work together, young and old, to make a better place for everyone. This is a wonderful community to live in!
