Mr. and Mrs. Russell D. Jones, former residents of Delphi, will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Dal-Mar Banquet Hall, 159 E. Lincoln St., Nappanee. The event will be hosted by their daughters, Joan Cassell of West Lafayette and Judy Miller of Lafayette.

Jones and the former Mildred Walterhouse were married Oct. 24, 1931, in Bourbon, by the Rev. H.E. Swihart.

He worked at RCA in Monticello and she worked in the Delphi High School cafeteria. They both retired in 1976 and returned to the Nappanee area where they now reside.

In addition to their two daughters, the Jones' have a son, William, who is deceased; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild.

The couple requests that gifts be omitted; but cards would be appreciated.
