Services for Carl Leroy Haines, 80, of Cape Coral, Fla., were held last Thursday in Fort Myers, Fla. Interment with military honors followed at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Myers.

He died Oct. 3, 2006.

Born June 9, 1926, he was the son of Clark and Mary Schaffer Haines. He was a 1944 graduate of Delphi High School.

Mr. Haines was a retired Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He served his country for 30 years, including World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Surviving with his wife, Jumpee Haines, are three sons, Doug Haines (wife: Carmen) of Rotterdam, Holland, Charles Haines (wife: Cathy) and Steven Haines (wife: Yvonne), all of Delphi; a daughter, Supranee Vollman (husband: Andrew) of Fort Myers; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A son and a brother preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
