With the rapidly changing seasons, winter will soon be arriving.

The beauty of the season brings colder temperatures for all; however, some families cannot afford coats and boots to protect them and their children from the chill of the season.

Stephen Siwinski is sponsoring a coat and boot collection at the Log Cabin in the Flora Community Park.

Gently used, clean winter coats and boots will be accepted for donation at the 1834 Log Cabin now through Oct. 31, with a distribution date and place to be announced. The donated items will be for families in Flora, Delphi, and surrounding areas.

All sizes of coats and boots are being accepted. A drop off container is located at the front door of the cabin. It is checked twice daily for donations.
