Garrison Carroll sophomore Megan Garrison just missed qualifying for the Girls' State Golf Tournament by 2 strokes,

carding an 83 at the Lafayette Municipal Golf Course on Saturday.

On a cool, breezy day, Garrison shot a 7 over par

44 on the first nine and a 1 over par 39 on the second nine. Of the Lafayette area players, she finished with the third lowest score.
