Faith Lutheran Church will have a group leaving after worship service Oct. 8 for a bike ride around the county. Adults are needed to help by providing snacks and drinks along the way. See Pastor Tom McShannock or Greg Downham for more information.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have its monthly breakfast on Oct 7 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. A freewill offering will be taken and everyone is invited.

The Deer Creek Community Center is having its annual meeting Oct. 28 from 8 to 9 a.m. that will be followed with a breakfast. Support the community center. Anyone having concerns or issues about the community center should plan to attend. There will be a free-will offering.

The Young America Fire Dept. recently held a silent auction to raise funds for the department.
