Gary Parrett has announced the closing of Center Street Grill in Flora.

Parrett said the last day of operation will be Monday, July 31.

The restaurant is listed with a realtor and if it doesn't sell, Parrett said he plans to liquidate the contents through an auction.

One dollar meal specials are being offered Saturday and Sunday. Everything on the menu will be half off on Monday until it is gone.

Parrett said he will honor gift certificates through Oct. 31 and should be contacted personally to redeem them.

Parrett opened the novelty restaurant in the spring of 2005. He recently sold Parrett's Meat Processing to Craig Meade and plans to continue working there until at least January.
