Rockfield to mark 150th with festival

Rockfield Sesquicentennial Festival committee is busy making plans for a celebration this fall. The town will be 150 years old and the milestone will be celebrated at a festival to be held Sept. 23 at the Rockfield Community Center.

The event will include food, games, contests, horse and buggy rides, music and more.

The committee is being chaired by Phyllis Shoemaker. Members of her committee are Vonda Pennington, Grace Deel, Irene Pyle, Kathy Snoeberger, Susan Kleckner, Gloria Johnson, Mabel Musall, and Marjorie Been.
