Hensley, Ranous pledge vows
Krista Marie Hensley and Greg Matthew Ranous were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. June 3, 2006, in Upper Deer Creek Church, Galveston. Pastor Derry Prenkert, Nappanee Missionary Church, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Carolyn Hensley of Flora. The groom's parents are Mike and Kit Ranous of Michigan.
The bride was escorted by her father. Andrea Anthony of Cutler, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Hensley of Flora, sister of the bride, Jodie Guse of Wanitah, and Kyra Edging of Flora, cousin of the bride.
Matt Karnath of South Bend was best man. Groomsmen were Jon Ranous of Ohio, brother of the groom, Joel Greenwood of Angola, and Ryan Hensley of West Lafayette, brother of the bride.
The bride's nephew, Austin Anthony of Cutler, carried the rings.
Serving as ushers were Bill Harvey of South Bend and Matt Edging of Flora, cousin of the bride.
The groom's sister, Christy Harvey of South Bend, was guest registrar.
A reception in the church fellowship hall followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School and will graduate in December from Bethel College with a bachelor's degree in business administration and an associate degree in interior design.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Calvary Baptist Academy. He earned a bachelor's degree in ministries from Bethel College in May 2005. He is an intern at Nappanee Missionary Church.
Following a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Ranous are residing in South Bend.
