Canal Days Festival
 Top Tug of war There was a call-out for children at the Canal Days festival to participate in old-fashioned games, such as this tug of war.  Traversing the canal The Canal Association's temporary canal boat was kept busy during the festival last Saturday and Sunday. This photo was taken from atop the Washington Street bridge. The association expects to have a replica canal boat in a couple of years.  Middle Sack race Children had a lot of fun and a few spills as they took part in sack races at Canal Days last weekend.  Bottom China painting Carol Oliver demonstrated china painting inside the Canal Conference Center.
