Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 7 p.m. July 6 in the church fellowship hall. Bible book of the month is James. Anna Case will give devotions and Melody Hodge, the lesson. Hostesses will be Melody Hodges and Jewell Rutledge.

Eleven members of the Aim Hi E.H. Club met recently in the home of Justine Crume with Pam Minier assisting. Barb Jones gave devotions. The birthday song was sung to Joan Rogers and Eva Lou Shanks and the anniversary song to Sharon Ashby. A Pig in a Poke Sale followed. Eva Lou Shanks installed new officers: Colleen Franek, president; Carolyn Edging, first vice president; Justine Crume, second vice president; Jean Willy, secretary; Mary Anne Berkshire, treasurer. Prize winners were Carolyn Edging and Joan Rogers.

Women's Missionary Society of the Baptist Church met last Wednesday at the church with six members and two guests, Marci Bradford and Jana Rouhier, attending. Devotions and Love Gift were given by Nancy Dillon, Juanita Yates gave a personal testimony and Jennifer Wallace presented a reading on Priscilla from the Bible. Hostess was Mary Whitfield.

Camden Community Vacation Bible School was held last week at St. Peters Lutheran Church. Total attendance for the week was 327. The offering taken each day was donated to the Heifer Project. Next year's VBS will be held July 23-27.
