Carroll County Free Masons will provide their first FREE CHILD PROTECTION PROGRAM at the 4-H fair from 5 to 9 p.m. every day. At least one parent must accompany the child. Children will receive a video disc picture, have fingerprints taken, and get a DNA swab.
American Red Cross will hold a BLOOD DRIVE on July 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Honan Hall, located at the corner of Monroe and Union streets, in Delphi. Call (800) GIVE-LIFE to schedule an appointment.
CARROLL COUNTY ON THE SAME PAGE kicks off June 29 at 7 p.m. at the Delphi Public Library. The program will be "Capturing Carroll County: A Sense of Place," featuring local poet Dr. Christian Knoeller. "Crow Lake" by Mary Lawson is the book selected for this county-wide reading program. Copies are available for checkout to any county resident at the Delphi (765-564-2929), Camden (574686-2120), and Flora (574-9673912) public libraries.
DELPHI ART CLUB will meet July 6 at the Senior Center in Delphi at 7 p.m.. The club will discuss and plan for the art show during Old Settlers in August. Members need to get their list of items for the show to Kathy Snoeberger by July 1. Hostesses for the meeting will be Barbara Humphry and Frances Ashley. Last month the club had a live drawing class with Jesse Heffner and Jordan Warford as models.
