Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dunn of Anderson, S.C. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. with an open house at White Oaks on Lake Freeman, hosted by their children. Dunn and the former Carol Simmons were married June 24, 1956 in Lafayette. He is a retired industrial tool salesman A homemaker, sheworked as a secretary for Krogers.

The couple has 3 children, Allen Dunne (wife Thelma) of Rochester Hills, Mich., Chris Dunn (wife Mickie) and Laura Johnson (husband Don), both of Anderson, S.C.

They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The couple requests gifts be omitted, but cards are welcomed.
