Lula K. McFall
Lula K. McFall, 90, of B r o o k s t o n , died at 9:50 p.m. on June 17, 2006, in her daughter's home in Cutler. She had been in poor health for several months.
Born in Lincoln City on July 9, 1915, she was the daughter of Lewis and Effie Gentry Stockhowe.
She moved to the Brookston area in the mid-1950s and lived there since then.
Her marriage was to Isaac C. McFall on Oct. 23, 1931, in Cannelton, and he died March 31, 1991.
Mrs. McFall was a nurse at the Indiana Veterans Home for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers and fishing.
Surviving are a son, Larry D. McFall (wife: Ellin) of Brookston; three daughters, Phyllis Giarratana (husband: Charles) of Manchester, N.J., Marcella Gregory of Brookston and Brenda K. Bower (companion: Paul Denny) of Cutler; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-greatgrandchildren.
Services are today at 1 p.m. at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston. The Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall will officiate. Burial will be at Brookston IOOF Cemetery.
